Tourist Activities: Visit the beaches Cinto (three hours by mule), hiking through the rainforest, visit the Tayrona National Park, visit to the village Chairama, kayaking the rivers Don Diego Buritaca, Valencia visit to the creek, ponds Cacique and Cacica, poultry farm, passion fruit and other crops of fruit, visits to other centers, horse riding and mountain biking, bird watching, visit to Santa Marta and Taganga. This sector is a core consisting of two lodges. The first, called Valentina, is surrounded by beautiful gardens and green areas for relaxation where hammocks and outdoor dining, the second named Camila and about 20 minutes in the same way. Dominates from the top of the mountain a beautiful landscape also surrounded by native flowers. They are comfortable wooden buildings and thatched roofs. These are two inns further withdrawals the Caribbean Highway. But also they keep the charm of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, though still far from their peaks. Both share the landscape formed by the river stones and filled mountain vegetation native trees and flowers. Its location is ideal for those wishing to get away from any shake of everyday life. The names are Hope and Brisas del Rio. Location: La Esperanza is located 30 minutes from Santa Marta on the Caribbean Highway to the point known as Paloquemao from there an hour to climb can be done on foot or horseback. To arrive at Brisas del Rio is a little later part of Paloquemao and a climb of about an hour to just be done on horseback or on foot. Both inns have ads in the Caribbean Highway. Lodging: The inns have two bedrooms each with a capacity of five people. They have private bathrooms and beds with mosquito net. Food: The inns do not have kitchens but the owners prepare food in your home. The predominant variety meals of fish, coconut rice, fried plantains and salad. |

SAN RAFAEL / 5 Cabins: Infrastructure and Services: All lodges have water and electricity, there are also fans. Serve bicycles for biking and walking. Tourist Activities: Visit to Rio Piedras, interpretation of Indian trails, hiking through the rainforest, visit the Tayrona National Park, visit to the village Chairama, kayaking the rivers Don Diego Buritaca, Valencia visit to the valley, visiting other nuclei and its attractions, horseback riding and mountain biking, bird watching, visit to Santa Marta and Taganga, surfing on the beach Los Naranjos, visiting the organic coffee crops and all their milling and roasting process. San Rafael is a nice core with five inns close to the Caribbean Highway and the main tourist attractions. It has beautiful gardens and paths that communicate with each inn. There is a demonstration plot with crops of bananas, cacao and fruit trees. Get ready for a great coffee and have organic farming and the entire process for tasting. Nearby is the Rio Piedras and the pool of Love which is reached by a short path. Location: Km 29 Via Santa Marta - Riohacha Trunk Caribbean, 500 meters before the main entrance of Parque Tayrona. The lodges are located a few meters from the main road with easy access path lit and surrounded by flowers. Accommodations: Five lodges in total, three of a room that can accommodate three people and two of the same number of rooms for five people. All lodges have a private bathroom and a terrace for sunbeds. There are mosquito net for bedding. Food: The inns do not have kitchens, but the owners are very well equipped central kitchen where they prepare food. They also have a dining room. Predominate variety of fish, coconut rice, fried plantains, salad, chicken, beef and sweet juices. |
