BATALLA DE FLORES: La Creatividad y la fastuosidad de las carrozas se hacen presentes en este desfile que se realiza en la Vía 40, presidido por la Reina del Carnaval de Barranquilla.

QUE SON LOS PALCOS ? : Son estructuras para albergar público, con el fin de que puedan observar de manera adecuada un espectáculo folclórico, desfile, paso de de carrozas y/o comparsas en el marco del Carnaval en la Vía 40. Estas estructuras están construidas bajo normas como RETIE, NTC 2050, ANSI C2 (Esto de acuerdo a lo publicado por la Organización Carnaval de Barranquilla). Cada Palco tiene una capacidad de 546 personas sentadas en diferentes niveles, es decir, acomodadas en escalones tipo gradería. Tienen techo para la protección de los espectadores.

MINI-PALQUITOS: Mantienen las mismas características, pero son más pequeños, albergan menos personas y las protección del sol es limitada al finalizar la tarde.

Estas estructuras están ubicadas de lado y lado de la Vía 40. Iniciando de la Calle 82 hasta la Calle 67.
